SS Population and Data Analysis and Trends

What is the relevance of demographics to your life?
How will issues related to demographics impact your life now and in the future?

I think that in the future it can be good or bad.

Good
- More people live longer
- better doctors (learn more) help people live longer

Bad
- Less environment for animals
- air is more polluted
- less food
- war over oil, coal, water, etc.

How does Demographic impact out lives? This impacts our lives because in some places like Malaysia burn down areas and haze travels to Singapore. It is really bad and it makes the air smell bad. The haze also affects people and it is a huge problem. In 2015 in Singapore the haze has lasted over 2 weeks and it's still here. This impacts it because if more people are born there will be more cars and more air pollution from them. And if the air comes it will add more and make it harder for some people to breath because a lot of people cough with the haze.

If this happens the population pyramid will start to zero out because more older aged people will live longer and the population will start to have more older aged people and children equalled.

In my opinion I think this will be a bad thing if we don't stop at around 8 billion in the population because we won't have a lot of trees and most of the world will be covered in houses and not a lot of grassy plains. Also prices will go up on food like they do now (how the government pays farmers not to farm certain foods.) There will also be more cars so the air will be more polluted and in some places it can get really polluted. Also there may not be enough water for everyone and that could lead to war over water. Also war would be over oil and coal like it is now because everyone will need more resources.
