KEVA planks art

1. What was your favorite part of this unit? Provide photo with your answer.
It was fun to build different types of things out of the KEVA planks.

2. How can KEVA planks enhance creativity?
You can make things 3D and you can build structures. You can make weird shapes structures out of the planks too. You can also make fun 2D things from them. 

3. In your own words explain how Cantilever works.

It is something that comes off of the structure.

Static Form

We just started to build we didn't really look at something to help us choose how to do it. We actually didn't really have a challenge because it didn't wobble and was pretty stable. I think this one turned out really well because it was pretty stable and we were able to close it off at the top and make stairs. Looking at it makes me kind of think of a sky scraper because it has a point at the top and was pretty tall. While we made this one nothing bad happened it was easy to stack the planks higher and higher quickly and then we started to close it off at the top to make it kind of like a building.

Dynamic Form

My inspiration was from the Marina Bay Sands boat building. It was really hard to make something that looked like a boat so, it became something on top of three pillars. With this one I think it was a nit sloppy at the top because it's kind of just a blob on planks on the top.  While I was making it the part on the top fell in every now and then and I was afraid it was going to cave in.
