Reliability

• Reliability

- trustworthy, valid source, same in another source to know it's more reliable

- Police and the US winners, found footage, convenience store, wasn't reliable

-you think you have the full story but, you find more info.

• Biased

- biased toward, in favor of

- biased against, not in favor of

- All sources are biased

- need to be aware of what happened

• Background Knowledge

- what do you need to understand the source

- if you don't know the details you won't understand, unless you know the background info

- the story that goes behind, laying the background

• Inference

- Infer, reasoned judgment

- based on this I think this

• Sources that conflict

- books Encountered and Christopher Columbus conflict with each other

This political cartoon talks about how Melania Trump plagiarized Michelle Obama's speech back in 2008. This cartoon is reliable, source because Melania did this in 2016 and the cartoon was made in 2016 as well. This is biased against Melania because she plagiarized the speech. This is biased towards people to create their own speeches and use, their own words.
