Photosynthese and Respiration

  1. What are two characteristics that all plants have in common?

They use photosynthese and cellular respiration.

  1. Which ingredient is necessary in order to convert carbon dioxide and water into carbohydrates and oxygen.

You would need Energy

  1. Would a Gymnosperm be a Vascular or Nonvascular plant?

It would be a Vascular plant.

Cuticles of a plant:

  1. What function do the plants stomata serve?

Carbon Dioxide enters and Water and Oxygen exit.

  1. How is a leaf like a factory when it comes to photosynthesis?  Explain using the following terms:  Carbon dioxide, Oxygen, water, sunlight,
It is like a factory because the sunlight is the energy to make sugar and Carbon Dioxide and Water is taken into the plant and the product is Oxygen. Things go into the plant and the plant makes Oxygen and it is like a product from a factory.

  1. What is chlorophyll and how is it different from a chloroplast?

Chlorophyll in in Chloroplast and it changes the Carbon Dioxide and water into Oxygen.
